Become a Spartan Tool Territory Manager

Do you enjoy troubleshooting and problem solving? Do you love the plumbing industry? Do you like to share your plumbing knowledge with others?

Our Territory Managers have a substantial background in the plumbing industry, and many are former drain cleaners or Master Plumbers themselves. The credibility and knowledge of having been in the trenches themselves allows our Territory Managers a unique perspective on our equipment. They routinely call on drain cleaners, plumbers, maintenance staffs, municipalities and other customers, showing up at the customer's shop or job site with a truck or van filled with equipment and parts, so that we can satisfy a customer's requirements right on the spot.

The Life of a Spartan Tool Territory Manager

Spartan Tool Territory Manager Joel Anderson

"I was with a customer yesterday who wanted to be able to do up to 6" lines and wanted to get an electric jetter. Well, we talked it over, and I suggested that for jobs that size, it'd be easiest and safest to have the additional gallons and pressure of the gas-powered 727.

That's a big benefit of being out here in the field. I'm glad I'm able to really help my customers understand what they need and why."

- Joel Anderson, Washington Territory Manager since 1996

Spartan Tool Territory Manager Herb Bishop

"You never know how you're going to wind up helping a customer. I went out to a site at a fast-food restaurant to train a guy that had just bought a 798 trailer jet from me. He cleared all the lines, no problem.

And then I showed him that, by attaching the pressure gun, the jetter could be used as a high-pressure washer. I demonstrated by spraying the grime off the sidewalk at the entryway. And when the restaurant manager saw that, he contracted my customer to do several other local locations."

   - Herb Bishop, Illinois Territory Manager since 1972

Spartan Tool Territory Manager Tom Griffin

"The president of the local state college called me not long ago. Now, as a college, they usually have work done for free by the state. But one day their Commons was completely backed up, it was four in the afternoon, and the guy they normally call was going home for the day.

So I went out, sold them the jetter they needed and trained them how to use it so they could handle their own jobs in the future. Just shows you -- for customers that work for a corporation or institution, nobody does service like we do service."

- Tom Griffin, New York Territory Manager since 1986
